Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake

Independent engineer for a 13.78 Megawatts MWdc single axis tracking solar PV power plant located at Naval Air Weapons Station ("NAWS"), China Lake, CA. Developed by SunPower.  Performed a project design review, independent yield assessment, and verified that the project has met the requirements for commercial operation.

NRG/SPP Portfolio

Confirmatory due diligence for a portfolio of 19 photo-voltaic solar distributed generation facilities (each ranging in size from 57 kW to 2.1 MW), with a total production capacity of 5.9 MWdc. 18 are located in Arizona on the campuses of Arizona State University and one in California on property belonging to Contra Costa Water District, San Miguel. Verified the reasonableness of the underlying technical cost assumptions in the financial model, performed independent yield assessment, and reviewed critical contractual documents.

SunEdison APS (SunE AZ1)

Independent engineer for an 11.7 MWDC (10.4 MWac, net) solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant located in Prescott, Arizona. Performed a project design review, independent yield assessment, and verified that the project has met the requirements for commercial operation.

SunEdison SPS Portfolio

Independent engineer for a portfolio of three 10MWac solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant located in Jal (2 sites) and Hobbs New Mexico. Performed a project design review, independent yield assessment, and verified that the project has met the requirements for commercial operation.

NRG Portfolio

Independent engineer for a portfolio of six utility scale photo-voltaic solar generation facilities (each facility ranging in size from 19.8 MW to 68 MW) located in California, New Mexico and Arizona, with a total production capacity of 185 MW. Three facilities were operational and the remaining were under construction.

Ontario Solar Energy Projects

Independent engineer for the review of financial models in connection with the purchase of multiple solar photovoltaic energy facility projects to be developed in Ontario, Canada.

FRV AE Solar Project

Independent Engineer for a 35 MWdc single axis tracking ground mount solar PV power plant, developed by FRV (and subsequently acquired by SunEdison), located at Austin Texas.

City of North Las Vegas

Water Reclamation Facility - Independent Engineer for a 1 Megawatt MWdc dual axis tracking ground mount CPV power plant, developed by Amonix, located at the City of North Las Vegas, Nevada

SunEdison Portfolio

Independent Engineer for a portfolio of projects located throughout the United States totaling 3.6 MW. Performed a project design review, independent yield assessment, and verified that the project has met the requirements for commercial operation.

enXco Long Island PV Solar Installations

Provided support for utility interconnection of PV Solar projects at seven locations throughout Long Island, NY. The projects total in aggregate 17MW.

Long Island Solar Farm

Independent Engineer for a 31.5 Megawatts MWac fixed tilt ground mounted solar PV power plant, developed by BP Solar, located at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, Long Island, NY.

Greater Sandhill Project

Independent Engineer for a 19 MWac tilted single axis tracking ground mounted solar PV power plant, developed by SunPower, located in Alamosa, Colorado. Responsible for the technology assessment; O&M cost preparation and validation; modeling and independent resource assessment; and construction monitoring.

Pahrump PV Project

Owners Engineer to assist in the development in excess of 100 MW of fixed tilt ground mounted PV project near Pahrump, NV. Provided conceptual design and prepared interconnection application.

Nevada Power Solar Project

Owners Engineer for a 3.5 MWac solar ground mounted installation of PV panels on a fixed mounting system in response to a RFP solicitation by Nevada Power.

Exelon I Waste Management Landfill Solar Project

Independent Engineer for a 3 MWac solar system installed on the Waste Management Grows Landfill, Falls Township, Bucks County, PA. Performed a complete project review and visited the site for visual inspection to verify that the project has reached the status of Substantial Completion and is ready for Commissioning.

Soquel High School PV Project

Independent Engineer for a 291 kWac solar system installed on multiple sloped rooftops of the High School in Soquel, CA. Performed a complete project review and visited the site for visual inspection to verify that the project has reached the status of Substantial Completion and is ready for Commissioning.

Wal-Mart Stores PV Project

Independent Engineer for several SunPower rooftop PV installations at stores in Palmdale, Porterville, Hanford, Lakewood, Chino, and Brea CA. PV panels installed at fixed tilt by means of SunPower T-10 mounting system. System sizes ranged from 350 to 500 kWac. Performed a complete project review and visited the site for visual inspection to verify that the project has reached the status of Substantial Completion and is ready for Commissioning.

Empire Utility Agency Solar Project

Independent Engineer for several SunPower rooftop PV installations at Inland Empire Utility Agency Locations in Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, and Chino CA. PV panels installed at fixed tilt by means of SunPower T-10 mounting system and/or T-0 single axis tracking system. System sizes ranged from 600 to1000 kWac. Performed a complete project review and visited the site for visual inspection to verify that the project has reached the status of Substantial Completion and is ready for Commissioning.

AT&T Solar Project

Independent Engineer for a 1 MWac solar PV system installed on a of AT&T center in San Ramon, CA. The system utilizes a fixed installation of 3688, SunPower SPR-305 PV panels at a 10-degree tilt by means of SunPower T-10 mounting system. Performed a complete project review and visited the site for visual inspection to verify that the project has reached the status of Substantial Completion and is ready for Commissioning.

Grundfos Solar Project

Independent Engineer for a 1 MWac solar on-ground system installed on premises of Grundfos Pumps Manufacturing in Fresno, CA. There are 5126, SunPower SPR-215 panels with a total power output of. Panels are installed by means of SunPower, T-20 tracker.  Performed a complete project review and visited the site for visual inspection to verify that the project has reached the status of Substantial Completion and is ready for Commissioning.

Denver Public Schools

Independent Engineer for a 1,803 kWdc portfolio of solar systems installed on sixteen public schools in Denver. Performed a project design review, independent yield assessment, and verified that the project has met the requirements for commercial operation.
